At the moment we are fine-tuning the last details before we will start selling shoes and belts in a few weeks.
But already today we thought we would tell you a little about the manufacturer and the construction as well as a few pictures.

All our shoes and belts are made in Mallorca, Spain, by the shoe manufacturer Yanko, which was founded in 1961 and has a long tradition of shoe manufacturing behind it. During the 90's Yanko had a hard time and the company also had some financial problems. In 2007 new owners took over who looked over what had gone wrong before and restructured the financial parts that had previously failed. At the same time, they were very careful to take advantage of the fine tradition and knowledge that Yanko had built up over decades.
For those familiar with shoe manufacturers like Meermin and Carmina, these two companies were started by the same family that was behind the founding of Yanko. Yanko has been making shoes for decades using the traditional goodyear technology. Each step of the manufacturing process is carefully controlled to ensure that each pair of shoes meets the stringent quality requirements. In addition to a very solid manufacturing process, only very high quality leather and materials are used. We at Skolyx have chosen Yanko as our partner because we feel that together we can offer very high quality shoes in attractive models at a good price. All models are goodyear-welted with leather sole.
